Marantz confirms price rises

More news here on new Marantz pricing.

We're keeping a weather-eye on price rises effecting star ratings - at the moment, with so many companies putting prices up (and retailers slashing their margins to keep competitive) I can't see any immediate changes on the cards.

However, all will be taken into account when we group test etc.

The thing is, as most manufacturers are putting their prices up, the whole market is getting more expensive so I can't see ratings being affected that much. Its just a shame that, in what many would consider is a golden period for 2 channel hi-fi, the economic pressures have resulted in such drastic action from manufacturers.
