Marantz cd6004 with Arcam rDAC

Hi guys and gals,

I'm finally dipping my toes into the world of external DACS and I've settled on an arcam rDAC. My question is, would I notice an improvement in sound quality if I used the arcam with the Marantz as a cd transport? is the DAC in the arcam better than the Marantz?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

DAC is for use your computer , DVD or cheap CD as a source or if you are using a good CD such as MARANRZ will be no improvement .

You will notice a differance using with the cd6004, i think its going to clear up the top end a bit just depends if you prefer it. I think the rDac is very impressive for its price, I've tried it with the Arcam CD17 going into A18 and made an improvement and makes a massive differance with things like the Sonos Connect
