where to start, lets just say i'm wanting to build my own subwoofer seen a lot about Qs, Fs, and all sorts, as a carpenter by trade can't see a problem with constuction but getting confused about port hole or not, stuffing in general and most of all where to get hold of a driver, as all i have read so far says a dedicated home cinema sub is preferable and i am trying to make something a bit tasty not just a load of boom any tips on where to look by the way marantz 63 se, technics sua 600, onkyo processor, mourdent short avant 902i front, celestion centre, chord company interconnects qed speaker cable.

i'm afraid you'll find very few forum members are going to have the kind of knowledge you're after. you could try a post in the hifi or home cinema section, but you're more likely to be pointed in the direction of a decent diy forum.

thats about what i thought after seeing the sound of paradise responses hope to show off my new home made sub with total flat response from 10-250Htz in the future lol

Why don't you find out how to it and then post a build thread somewhere on this forum. Take a look at some of mine (in my useful posts in signature).

been looking at making my own sub got all the info on numbers and calcs struggling to find a supplier of drivers. No car sub wanted any leads.
