just sorted my mains lead for ps3 and now lookin for a new mains lead for both my cd player and amplifier . can anyone recommend a suitable lead for arcam a70 amp and arcam cd73 cd player please.

Can I ask why you've changed the mains lead on the ps3? (I'm not trying to be critical; just wondered why)

got a clearer audio copperline alpha to hopefully improve picyure quality.

Well the one I fitted to my PS3 made the picture better and the sound FAR better

Just something I've never considered; maybe I should.

Take into consideration that there are 2 reasons why replacing the mains lead 'might' be of benefit ~

1 ~ the original lead isnt allowing full power through

2 ~ the mains supply into the unit (Whatever it is) is 'dirty' (Full of electrical interference)

Most people houses will have a 'dirty' mains suppply so most people would benefit from upgrading

You might want to first consider a 'mains conditioner' though

There may be many reasons for buying a upgraded mains cable but the reasons you cite won't be amongst them. Changing the cable isn't going to affect the amount of power getting to the PS3 and the cable isn't going to filter out any interference or noise present in the mains unless it has something incorporated into the main plug or IEC socket.
