Mains cables - pointless if using a 4-way?

Why don't you replace the 4 way extension with a mains conditioner like Isotek Gemini or Orion or a Tacima CS929 if you're on a budget. Using a specialist mains cable certainly wouldn't be pointless then.

Hmm, nice idea. Might look into a Tacima before anything else. Cheers...

Hi FBSF

I got myself a Tacima a few months ago, found that it improved the picture and sound plus the surge protection gives peace of mind.

Me too but also agree with the point about surge protection being useful (actually does something which is an objective improvement) but you can buy surge protection much cheaper!
