MacMini into LG Oled - screen judder in movies when panning

I've just upgraded my TV and am trying to optmise all settings and fix some long standing issues.

I've always had a problem with Image Judder when viewing movies using Mac Mini VLC and displaying on my TV. I've spent the morning and afternoon Googling info and changing settings on my Mac Mini but to no avail.

The Mac Mini is set to PAL 60hz and overscan is off.

My exact set-up is MacMini into Maraznt NR1605 into LG Oled.

I do have the option of just using Blurays on PS4 which works fine but I like the convenience of having all my media available from the Mac Mini.

Can anyone help please?

Hi. I know nothing about Macs at all but it seems strange to set frequency to 60Hz if you're in UK - you are aren't you?

Hi Petherick,

Yes - good point. Doh! However the issue was the same at 50hz.

I've now solved the problem though, as since connecting the new TV to the Mac, there is now a 24Hz option in the Mac settings which is what I needed. Judder is now gone. I just had to do a lot of Googling on AV forums to find the solution.
