Looking for best solutions for MP3 and internet radio listening

I want to digitalize my CD collection and play music over my home cinema speakers as well as listening to internet radio. Is there any feasible alternative out there other than using an iPod Touch? I don't want to use my computer for playing the music.

Sounds like a plan if the PC must be off (which rules out Airport Express, for example). Ripcaster are very helpful and will probaby do you a bundle - something like a terabyte QNAP NAS and the Squeezebox will come in under five hundred notes.
