if your certain on getting an LCD maybe the Sony KDL40W3000, but i would 100% recommend the Panasonic plasma TH42PZ70B, plasmas give better colours and much better motion handling than LCDs :)

They will probably be more than the £1200 you want to spend. They will be the best, but are they value for money/worth waiting for? Dont know.

There should be a review up on the site soon for the Panasonic 42PZ85. It looks like a great HD performer and should be available within your budget if you look around the net. It has a lot of the features of the PZ800 series but is available now. It might be worth waiting for the review first though.

Ditto Scotsgirl, thanks Clare. Think I will push the budget and opt for the P42X85. (After the review of course!)

Hi mate,

The PZ80 is due out to distributors around the second week in April, they will be going for under £1000 just. The PZ85 doesn't have much to offer over the PZ80 in features to be honest so my be a better bet for you. The estimated pirce of £1100 is too high and I know I can get them at trade for around £940 at the outset and i think that price will come down.
