Looking for a compact home cinema system

Can any one advise on a good quality home cinema surround sound system?

I don't need a DVD player so ideally a system that come out of the box and preferably that has a wireless facility for the rear speakers

Sony IS100 with optional rear wireless module? Never heard one but reviews look promising.
