The David Live and Stage remasters also demonstrate the benefits of skillfull CD-remastering - eg, improved separation, detail and soundstage, plus punchier bass - without resorting to compression :)

Stiff little Fingers-Hanx is classed as one of the best.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds-Live Seeds is awesome.

They're not Clapton, so you may, or may not care to listen to them.

Sorry if it's a bit late but I'll offer three suggestions which are all amongst my fave albums of all time:

Jimi Hendrix - Hendrix in the West.

Rory Gallagher - Live in Europe.

They are both oustanding example of what can be achieved by just three people, one of whom just happens to be a guitar god!!

Frank Zappa - Roxy and Elsewhere - Its Frank at his most inventive and that says it all.

Kicking Television by Wilco

Not exactly unplugged! but their best album by a mile, not too country twee and not too experimental either - mind you the feedback and noise in the 11 odd minutes of 'Spiders' is pretty cool!
