Listening to an all in one home cinema package

I am thinking of buying a Panasonic sc-pt860eb-k cinema package and am asking if i will be able listen to the football from my Sky box through this system. Might be a niave question but this is my first time using this type of equipment and wanted to ask this question before buying?

Sky, Sky+ or Sky+HD?

The standard Sky box has an analogue stereo output, which you can connect to the Panasonic to get sound in stereo, whereas the the Sky+ and Sky+HD have digital outputs which will again connect to the Panasonic, but this time giving surround sound where it's available on the broadcast.
