I have noticed that there are instances where the lips and the sound are out of sync - quite distracting, but not sure if it is just my sky+ box, or that it is a known problem....if so how is it fixed? I am currently running a scart cable direct to the PZ85b with the sound to the Marantz 4300 av amp.

Sky can occasionally get out of lip-synch when you've fast-forwarded/rewound a recording. On the rare occasions it happens, I find exiting the recording then restarting from where you left off often instantly sorts the issue.

If you're getting lip-synch issues more frequently, there are delay settings in both the Sky menu and those of the receiver, so you can get tweak either to gets picture/sound in perfect synch.

In my experience it seems to vary between channels, National Geographic Hd and Discovery HD in particular can sometimes be very out of synch even on "live" veiwing, whilst other channels have no problem.

Hi - just recently I have noticed this lip sync problem on my HD box. It does not seem so noticebale on normal broadcasts, but is on HD broadcasts especially on the International Cricket. Playing around with the settings alleviates it to a certain extent, but then it causes a problem on normal transmissions. Are Sky aware of this? Thanks

It isn't just with fast fowarded/rewound recordings that it can get out of synch. A few times on live viewing I have seen a slight glitch in the picture and this has then thrown the sound out of synch. Switching to another channel and then back again seems to be the only way to bring the sound and picture back together when this happens.
