Linn ClassicT- what Speakers/ Cables match well on a budget?

Hi There,

I've recently picked up an Old Linn Classic T, works well, and I'm enjoying it so far on TDl Nucleus KV1. I'm sure It could sound better, what would you recommend speakers wise. I can't stretch to much may 200 pounds max. I mainly listen to Jazz and would love to hear vocals come through well.

Linn Katans work really well with the Classik.Should be in your bracket second hand.Matching stands are good - I used RA Torlyte stands which also worked really well.Any open stands should be fine though.Jazz is particularly good on them.

PS Any copper cables should be fine,no need to spend more than £2-3 per metre.

the advice is much appreciated. I'll explore the Lin katans a little more. I looked into them previouslyand the cheapest pair. I found were around £350.

Thanks for your advice about the speaker cables, really interesting that you would recommend cables at that price, I'd really be interested in finding out more, in terms of, what has led you to that conclusion.
