Since you already have a pretty good 65-inch television, what do you expect either of the prospective new sets to do that your present set does not do? Essentially, why are you considering a change at all?

Okay then. Of the two televisions that you list, I don't know much about the LG, but the Panasonic has found wide acclaim, for instance here: https://www.avforums.com/review/panasonic-dx902-tx-65dx902b-uhd-4k-tv-review.12385.

I've got the 58" version of the Panasonic and it's easily the best tv I've had.

The 65 was just a bit too big.

Remember to hire a forklift to help set it up, this thing is a beast. Or pay John Lewis to do it for you.

Good. lg dont do the best LED tvs. They use ips panels so not the best blacks. If anyonw buys lg should be OLED not LED. Stick to panasonic or samsung mostly for those.
