Hi all,

Does anibody have personal experience regarding sound quality of this all-in-ine system which is widely regarded as the best HTIB across the web?

I am especially interested in comparision of the sound quality with budget separates (since LG is way ahead regarding features like built-in wi-fi, DLNA streaming, ext.HDD playback etc.).

Best regards,

Goran

Oh I know that dirtydean, but for now I can accept bying all-in-one which would be ok for the next 3-5 years, and after that who knows...

Basically, I am trying to get the answer about how big is the gap between LG and budget separates (If there is a gap!), based on someone's personal experience or eventually from somebody at WHF.

(Otherwise, I know that everyone on the forum prefers separates, but I also know that there are too many frustrated people with mismatched systems seeking for advice, so I am a little bit reluctant to go that route, because where I live I can not experiment, I can only buy separates from internet = blind shopping).

*For budget separates, I am thinking of something like Sony BDP-S370 plus Onkyo TX-SR308 or Sony STR-DH810 plus Boston Acoustics Soundware XS, but that way my budget will be stretched by +50%. Will I get that much of an improvement?

Best rgds, Goran

Ronald Archiebald:

Gok (Wan)?

Sony BDP-S370 + Sony STR-DH810 + Boston Acoustics Soundware XS ----> these will do nicely and will be far superior to any boxed solutions.

Ronald

I'd 2nd that Ronald

And sorry Goran if i was stating the obvious.....

Dean.

Im sort of in the same boat as to what to get as at the mo i have a panasonic all in one box but want to upgrade . im gonna go the seperates route as the sound etc is so much more (as ronald has told many times) . i was going for the onkyo hts6305 all in one set (508 reciever) and includes i pod dock but no dvd player but may go for better speakers . i listened to the onkyo system at richer sounds and it did sound the nuts to me but im now thinking of going the onkyo 508 reciever and the jamo speakers as lots on here say they are a good match ! i have the ps3 for my blurays etc so dont really need a one box anyway + seperates can always be updated individualy .

i not a fan of the lg and dont like the look of the sony av recievers but my opinion

No need to shout gok
Doesn't look like anybody has one.
Do a search on Google with the model number, there are a few threads on there mainly negative.
Hope this helps
