Hey what would you think of this, brand new, but I have a PS3 already.

Is it worth the upgrade, or buying the dedicated blu-ray?

Thanks

Anyone? sorry to bump, just dont want them to sell out if it will better my PS3

Thanks so much

Nice 1 dude, thanks.

I have the PS3 fat and cant bitstream HD, but for the benifit might not be worth it eh!

For £50 might be worth a punt and if no good should be able to ebay it for not far off that amount.
I'd be quite surprised if a player being discounted that much would be significant improvement over the PS3. Certainly on functionality it can't compare.
I'd say go for it. It's not really a £50 punt cos you'd get most of it back

Canada16,

The PS3 has a better picture than the LG350, IMO.

If you really wanted a cheap blu-ray player, I would suggest you spend slightly more and get a Panasonic DMP-BD35 which will offer a far superior picture and sound quality.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. It will be better to save up the money for other gear investment.

IMO, don't buy for the sake of buying

Neither would I when the 370 is available for £100.00!

canada , do you know someone with a sony 370 ?? , a mate perhaps ?? if so then why not get him/her to bring it around to your house ? have a cup of tea and compare the two ? thats what i would advise before spending money seeking better blu-ray playback , that you may or may not get..

Having two machines to spin BDs sounds like luxury to me.

Wouldn't it better to spend the $$ on BDs?
