LG 65NANO956NA 8K is £799.99 delivered at Costco. Not that there's any 8K content out there, likely hence the low price. Still if any early adopters must have it, it's cheap!

No, the price is low because it's an old model. New models arriving in spring. They have to clear their shelves for the 2022 models.
Even for a year old 8K model the price is low. Wouldn't full me with confidence buying one. Can't imagine the upscaling is up to much!
