Not with John Lewis because it doesn't have a physical shop, but I think you can price match with Richer Sounds.

That's a heck of a price, but their is a catch. No warranty, so if you go for it you run the risk. Having got stung for that same thing on the last Sony I brought that went pop a couple of months ago, I wont ever make that mistake again.

Richer Sounds will only price match if it's comparable, and they offer a 6 year warranty as standard so not likely to in this case. I got mine from their for £1599 during the Bank Holiday weekend.

Considering this was a drop of nearly 25% in it's value in the course of only a couple of months, it's definitely worth keeping an eye on for when it drops again.
