any thoughts on which of these would be the best match for my dyn's?

i would be using the pre in a benchmark dac1 for the mono's

the tucana is 1200, the 2 mono x are 1600

it's gonna be a blind buy, with me hoping i can sell on if i don't like them.

From what I can remember Craig you started off much lower down the hierarchy that is the hifi monarchy. It seems times have changed..

I would recommend the Leema with the Benchmark. I've always detested any Cyrus amp when i've had it plugged into my Benchmark.

Edit - but that's me, me and me alone.ÿ

I love certain Cyrus equipment but always feel their Mono-X are over-priced and underpowered at their price point (I also dont like their pre amps, but that's another matter).

Leema everytime for me. Also have a look at Bel Canto monos, great little amps they are.

I seriously doubt that...

hmm, the guy who is selling the tucana has another buyer who has given him a deposit, but he doesn't think he can get the balance (he knows him). if he doesn't have it within a few days, then i'm back in the frame.

but, i've found an ex dem moon i3rs for the same money. does anyone have opinions of this with my dyn's. i've read that dynaudio use moon amps at hifi shows in the u.s., so i'm thinking they could be a good match? also, does anyone know the power output of it into 4 ohms? i've had a look on simaudio's website, but it doesn't appear on there. has the amp been discontinued?

There's an ex-demo Tucana on Ebay for £2199 or Best Offer. It's one of my local dealers, who are very good. Maybe worth putting an offer in and seeing what they say.
