leaving a plasma in the box ?

really need a expert opinion on this hope its not a silly question

i have recently moved back into parents house and saving for a house but last month brought a 60" plasma tv

and the idea was to keep it as it is in the box for when i move back out..how long this will be i dont no.

brought it as its now discontinued and wanted this particular model.

so question is; will it be ok to keep as it is for a long period of time in the box for when i go or would i be better off using it ??

AFAIK it should be okay as long as you keep it upright.

Make sure you check it for any manufacturing defects though.

do you mean turn it on and check it all or just turned off ?
