Hi all Would like your opinions on which of these offers the best price/performance: LG 26LC55 - £307.81 LG 32LC56 - £384.91 JVC LT-26DT8ZJ - £389.01 JVC LT-32DT8DZ - £394.91 JVC LT32DA8 - £384.90 Sony KDL-26U2000U - £394.01 Philips 26PFL5522D - £360.00 Samsung LE26R87BDX - £379.00 Samsung LE26S86BD - £379.00 Sharp LC-26AD5E - £339.00 Sharp LC-32AD5E - £400.00 Sorry its such a long list! My main requirements are freeview, PC connectivity and reasonable sound quality for under £400. This TV will be going in my bedroom so looking at 26" primarily but will go for 32" if I can get a good model for a good price. I know i've given quite a long list of options but I just want someone to rule out the crap models and recommend the best options (maybe 3 or 4, taking price into account) so I can go and track down the best deal? Thanks in advance.

Both my kids have the Samsung 26"" lcd's in their bedrooms and they are great little sets with my Daughters one aslo being used for her PC. Well worth the money.

Cheers, think I'm settled on the R87 then. Just gotta find a good deal now, I've heard they can be had for around £350.

Am I right in thinking the R88 version is the same as the R87 (apart from a few cosmetic tweaks) but exclusive to Dixons/Currys? And the R86 is the same but with 100Hz technology?

EDIT: Why doesn't my text format properly???

Ahhhh the text format. Why don't you just remove the plain text option altogether and just have one version so our formatting can't drop out all the time?

What a great idea Will, who needs plain text anyway!
