Laptop with Beats or Usb Dac

Help me choose and why.

1. Budget AMD laptop + usb dac or

2. Hp i3 laptop with built in Beats audio or

3. Hp i3 with Beats + usb dac

This is for hi fi setup. If i choose no 1, would a slow spec laptop / netbook effect audio quality? i really like no 2 but concern about volume control and how far difference the sound compare to dac.

either should do, providing you are using an external dac as the ones in the laptops tend not to be that good. Don't get fooled by the beats branding on the hp laptops, doesn't actually mean much.
