Im soooo frustrated.

Over a month ago I ordered - and paid IN FULL - for a Pioneer KRP500 and LX71 blu-ray bundle from a supposedly reputable and well known outlet in Tottenham Ct Rd who had a stand at the Ideal Home Exhibition. Please do not ASK me to name and shame them.

When I ordered it, I was told they were currently out of stock but would be restocked in two weeks, fair enough I thought. Two weeks stretched to three, then four and then five. At the start of this week I was told that they were HOPING to get them towards the end of July but they werent sure !!!!!

I then I ASKed to speak to a sales(person) who might advise me on alternatives that were in stock and was told that no-one could help me because orders from the Ideal Home Exhibition where handled by a different department. I tried phoning back three times ASKing for help but when they knew I had ordered through the Ideal Home Xpo I ended up being passed back to the same staff member..... sigh. What an unbelievably frustrating company !!!!

I then made the foolish decision to cancel my order - assuming that I would just be able to buy one somewhere else. Ha ha ha ha ha I hear everyone say.... It did occur to me to ASK the company I was attempting to buy from whether they were going to be able to sell my TV for more money when it eventually arrived... but Im sure this ploy hasent occurred to them. Hmmmmmmmmmm..

So... should I go for a currently inflated price of the seemingly few remaining 5090s or wait and see what the new THX V10s are like ? In which case I should probably just have accepted the July delivery slot....

....but my white wall is getting very boring to look at.

Pioneer plasmas are still the tops.

V10 is excellent though. Depends how long you want to wait and how much you can afford to pay.
