As the heading says really? I'm not that fussed about using them as a handsfree or needing to have the inline remote. So, do I go for the newer pair, or try and find a pair without the controls and presumably save some money? Is there a difference in audio quality between the two?

I've seen the X10i's though for £149.99 from Home AV Direct. Has anyone evet dealt with them?

without any help whatsoever!

FYI, I have the X10's and think they are a fantastic pair of earphones.

When properly inserted, mute is pressed on the noisy outside world. I'm sure you will enjoy!

Hi there I have a pair of the x10 and they are truely splended and would highly recomend. I managed to get them from a place in island for £135 but having spent about 10 hours looking about 8 months ago looking £150 is a good price. HOME AV DIRECT are ok i have used them for items in the past the only thing i can say is delievery did take about a week.

Still not got them buts that's down to the courier rather than AV Direct. Got home late on Friday (had been at Wimbledon) to a "sorry we missed you" card. I couldn't just go the depot on Saturday as they insist you book a slot to collect, and I was too late to do that. They can bring them back during the week, but only to my address. So, I've had to wait until Wednesday when I'll be in and pay them another £6 to get it guaranteed for the morning.

Just LOVE these X10i earphones! I'm hearing things I haven't heard before, so clear and organised - just a joy. I'll be getting the custom made gels next month and hopefully that'll improve things even further.

If you're thinking about buying these, I can recommend them

Sound wise they are first rate unfortunately the build quality isn't.

The strain reliefs are starting to split again on my replacements for the original failing set. Sadly I am now out of warranty and Klipsch will not replace them again.

Make sure you purchased from an authorised dealersure you keep your receipt safe - you may need it.
