Street prices on the LSX II's have been $999 now for some time. Now the LT model has been introduced the LSX II street prices have gone back up to $1,299. Thanks for nothing KEF... good marketing ploy though.

No, the original price was 1200 quid.

Can only speak to US pricing, but LSX II's new price is still less than what it was before the holiday sale prices, and it looks like LS50WII and LS60 are both staying at a lower price too. That all seems like a win to me, how often are there actual price reductions in hifi? Everything tends to go up in price.
