KEF Kit 140

Hi,

Ive been looking around for reviews on this kit but can`t find any.

Anyone have any experience of this model or the KEF equipment in general?

Just a follow up to my earlier question.

If I sit these on the floor besides my TV which will be above the speakers is the sound likely to be compromised as a result?

Yes. You need to put them on stands.

Thanks for your reply. Its what I expected but was hoping I could get away with them on the floor as the depth of these speakers will cause issues in the location they are to be sited.

More thinking required!!

Are they wall-mountable?

I don`t think so but it wouldn`t help as its the angle of my TV to where people sit that is the issue.

Because they are quite deep despite being slim in width, the depth cuts off part of the tv on one side where placed.

Moving the tv out exposes wires which is not acceptable to the other half!
