kef eggs 2005.1 vs hd audio

i have the said surround package running off a yamaha htr 5640 reciever. what i would like to do is upgrade to an amp that supports the new hd audios but will the eggs be up to the job?

Hi Plainlyman, Well I have the kef eggs 2005.2 and they work very well with my Onkyo 606 i cant see why they will not work with an upgrade if I am wrong no doubt you will soon know.

I'm currently running a 5.1 kef 2005.1 setup off a Sony STR-DG820 amp and the HD audio from Blu Ray discs played on my PS3 is excellent IMHO.
