KEF 3005SE UPGRADE TO 7.1

Hi everyone,

I am considering of purchasing KEF 3005SE and looking to upgrade it to 7.1 right away and I was wondering if I should purchase 2 3001SE center speakers to use them for front left and right speakers insted of 2 surround speakers? I could get the center speakers for about the same price as the surround speakers. Could this effect the sound in any negative way?

It won't affect it in any negative way. It'll be good, as the front 3 speakers (that produce most of what's going on), will be upgraded and equally capable.

That sounds like the perfick way to go Kris ! You'll have a great front soundstage with killer looks.
