Just watched Cyrus CD XT SE go for... £421.99 on ebay! Looked like it was ex-dem from a dealer! Should have bid on this.

Somebody got a bargain this weekend.

some used prices are really low - my CD6SE (and the only other one on ebay at the same time) for just £400, I saw an ex dem Kandy K2 CDP for £257!! Yet I have seen used DACmagics fetch £200. Bonkers.

There's no rhyme or reason to ebay's prices, which is why used prices should never be based on anything that's sold on ebay. there's certain products being sold on there that are going for prices that are way above what they actually retailed for when new, which is just wrong - they're nothing special or sought after either.

Its interesting I was going to put up a similar thread as I just watched a Graaf GM50 amp go for £1595, quite a bit under the £4000 rrp! wish I had that kind of cash to hand.....
My grado SR60 also didn't sell at £35 which I was quite annoyed about!
