Joining up Sky HD and 2 channel amp

Hi,

I have taken the plunge and gone for Sky HD. I have sky+ currently going through my creek amp and Leema speakers. It is joined with a chord crimson, but I was wondering that as the HD has a better sound, would a better interconnect give me better sound through the 2 channel amp?

I've never directly compared the analogue out's on Sky+ and SkyHD boxes,but i'd be surprised if the HD box offers better sound quality.

would a better interconnect give me better sound through the 2 channel amp?

Phil I personally think a better I/C would be wasted on a Sky box.

IMO,you'd be better off puting the money towards a DAC and using the SkyHD's digital out!!!
