Jerky video on ps3?

Hi everyone. I have just about convivced myself that i need to buy a ps3 but am a little unsure if it will play video on my tv. As i understand it the ps3 outputs video at 1080p/24fps but my tv will not display 24fps. Does this mean that everything i watch on blu ray disc will be jerky or is there software inside the ps3/my tv to compensate for it?My tv is a sony kdl40w2000. As far as I know it does not have to output 24fps, you can change it.

My tv doesn't output 24fps and Blu-Ray discs play just fine on my PS3.

i have the same tv as you do and borrowed a ps3 to try it out. Great picture and no problems with judder or any incompatibility issues.
