ixos mains cables

Anybody any experience with these cables and how they compare with say the copper-line alpha products ? At half the price just wondering if they are in the same league ?

The Copper Lines have a 60 day money back guarentee. Try them and if you don't like them, send them back. I plan on getting a few in a couple of months to try on various bits of equipment to see if they make any difference.

Ive never tried the Ixos mains leads. But speaking generally ~ ive found Ixos to be very poor for the money

Some people must like the way they look or they wouldn't sell.

The do LOOK substantial, Ixos products do tend have very good 'build quality'. Ive personally tried a scart, interconnects and ****REMOVED FOR FEAR OF STARTING A WAR***

They all performed poor for the price though.

On the other hand the co ax I use to my tv DID make quite a difference for very little money which im quite happy with.

Is this for HiFi or AV gear?

I was looking to get a new mains cable for my turntable, the original was lost a couple of years ago after a house move and I bought a cheap £5 cable from the local electrical shop just to get it working again. But now I have invested in a new amp(Kandy K2) thought I better get a decent cable and dust off the old vinyl....

I went with the copper-line alpha....

I've actually got two of these - now need a third - sitting in a box at the moment.ÿ

I'm intending on using them with with my; sub, valve pre/headphone amp and amp which won't be here until next month. ÿ

To be honest I only bought them because I needed the power cords to be 3m long, don't actually expect to notice any difference at just £15.ÿ
