i no this is in the wrong place but i wanted trafic

whenever i hook up an apple device (clasic 120,touch,or tv)my itunes frezzes and does not see the device(except clasic witch comes up in the itunes device list but stil frezzes itunes)and cant do anything untill i disconect the device i cant even eject.as soon as device is removed it is ok again im using vista on windows and ive not only reinstaled itunes ive reinstaled the lot os and everything ive tried two diferent sync leads and all avalible usb slots

windows can see the device in its menu and ive factory reset all pods/tv. i have just started using itunes 9 since thurs and did my last apple tv sync on sat morning also the album art has gone from my grid veiwer but can be seen in coverflow but in grid view its not a music note on the cover its a plain blank white box so for some reason it seems to be hidden

any help please! untill this is resolved i have no music

Can you try it on a friend's PC?

If it works, then I would assume that the controller for your USB interfaces has a problem. Can you run other things such as USB memory keys or printers?

If it works on another person's PC, then a PCI USB card (normally less than a tenner on ebay) may solve the problems - it will have different drivers to those on your computer's main board. This is only applicable to a desktop PC. If it's a laptop, you may have a serious problem.

Unless you buy lots of music from iTunes and use a Mac, why not do something radical, forsake the bounder and use something like MediaMonkey, which I and others have found to be more efficacious way to manage digital material on one's computer?

Except when you have an iPod, iPod Touch or Apple TV, like the OP...

usb ports seem to be ok and the apple tv works over cat5 and that will not work either tried the 5 rs and still no luck the art work on gridview is back.it just apeared again

and no i got no music less i can crawl from my chair and get a cd out and play it in the bluray
