are they 160 or 320

has anyone bought any and how far behind a lossless ripped cd track does it sound.

the next things is that itunes says it drm is it or something that like which squeezebox does not play does amazon and spotify bought tracks suffer the same fate.

1) iTunes and Amazon are 256k* AAC and mp3 respectively, if I remember right. Spotify Premium is 320k, any other subscription level is 160k.

2) I find it very difficult to differentiate between Spotify Premium and a CD, for the music I listen to. YMMV.

*Most iTunes songs aren't DRM'd any more, as far as I'm aware - look for the 'Tunes plus' logo to verify they're 256k and DRM-free.

thanks john , to pick your brains a little theres a few tracks on spotify that i like and would buy if i could get info i want its 320 and that it sounds very close to cd or lossless and that once bought off spotify i can create a folder on my desktop drop them in and stream to j river media centre with artwork or through my squeezebox duet with artwork.

many thanks simon
