Itunes Album Artwork irregularities!!

Hi just been burning some new discs to itunes.

When i click "get album artwork"the system starts....

Then when its finished artwork i had before disappears or changes to another cover!?!

Very annoying as i am a little precise when it comes to my tuunes!!

Any way of getting round this??!!

Copy and paste the artwork in yourself. If you have a scanner you can scan the cover from your CD and use that.

Thanks Chebby, Will this mean that when i get album artwork for other titles in the future that they will be edited out?? Or is there a way of storing what you already have??

Only happened to me once. A Blondie album stubbornly refused to come up with correct artwork (it insisted on a Karaoke Blondie 'cover' instead) and I just scanned the cover then copied and pasted the .jpg into where it said 'drag artwork here'.

A few times (BBC Drama and documentary CDs especially) come up with no artwork at all so I just grab the 'cover' from the BBC shop site (or amazon) or scan it if I can't find a high enough quality version on the web.

Thanks did the copy/paste with Bob Marley album and you are right when you say it is hard to get a good quality pic. Think the best way if using the Gracenote database is to get the album covers individually.

I've got this old Techno cd I bought when I was about 16, I keep it around for nostalgias sake (its mostly un-listenable) . iTunes in its infinite wisdom replaced the album cover with Charley Mingus. I kept the cover as it makes me chuckle.

itunes decided to give artwork for jimi hendrix - electric ladyland, from gomer hendrix - electric meatland!
