Hi all, i am thinking of buying a mains conditioner and i have seen a MONSTER 850G GREEN POWER mains conditioner in comet's for £145, it look's nice and it has some very nice feature's etc. So therefore can anyone tell me if this is a good quality item and a seriouse piece of kit and should i go ahead and buy it or should i buy some other company's for example QED do a 6 gang one for around £200 but it look's very boring. Thank's

Hi i am just wondering why you said that it will be no good for a amp because eack of the socket's are marked and there is one for an amp, even though this socket has amp marked on it i am not sure it does offer more power then the rest of the socket's. Also i have heared that it is best to plug an amp straight in to the main's socket because apperantly main's conditioner's supposed to restrict it's power and therefore not make the amp sound that great but what i do n ot understand is that why is this so surely the conditioner's job is too clean the main's power and therefore lower the noise floor and ultumitly this should make the equipment like an amp sound better but like i said most people disagree and therefore plug their amp straight in to the main's.
