is it worth repairing?

I've got an ipod - 2nd gen 40gb.

The harddrive sticks and is nackered basically.

Is it worth replacing the hard drive - ie - too expensive, where from and all that?

I would think the cost of repair to the ipod would be expensive, had a look on ebay and there are a few around, my be time to invest in a new one.
