Is Bi-amping different makes safe?

Hello

I have an arcam a75 diva intergrated amp and was wondering if it would be safe to use my rotel rb1510 power amp with it in a bi-amp set up? I don't wish to damage any of my equipment.

Simple answer is yes. Whether the Rotel/Arcam A75 + speakers will synergise is another question. But if your power amp and integrated is working fine then 'yes'.

It is safe to do this but not something I would recommend because the 2 different amplifiers will have different gain.

meaning that the speakers will become unbalanced ( too much treble or too much bass).

My rotel has adjustable gains for each channel.

May try it and see how it sounds

Unless you do something silly then absolutely yes!

To have another machine doing the hard work with the higher current driving the bass section whilst the more refined amplifier running the delicate mid range and higher frequencies can have a huge improvememnt on the audio.

Check the absolute phase of the amplifiers thogh...
