Hi

I really want to be able to show my photos from my iMac on my Pana plasma. Is Apple TV the only way I can do this ? I'm asking as I'm not interested in its other features - I don't want to stream iTunes (as don't want low quality tunes thru my Naim!) and have no intention of downloading movies etc.

Thanks

Roger

You could plug a laptop in with a VGA lead.

Your Panny might have an SD card slot.

You could burn CDs to DVD and play them back.

You could use Apple TV, PS3, Xbox, or many more.

cheers Eddie

Sorry should have stated I can do it manually - it's streaming from my Mac I'm interested in with no copying to disc etc.

1) Ahahahahahahahaha

2) Well you could do it with just an iPod, but if you want it wireless and syncing, then yeah, Apple TV is pretty much it from a Mac.

My choices in order would be:

1) Xbox 360

2) PS3

3) S/H Mac Mini (old version obviously)ÿ

4) Apple TVÿ

roger06-I stream to my PS3 using software from these guys-http://www.nullriver.com/

And they do software for Xbox360 as well.

Movies, music, piccies the lot.

Check it out you can trial and buy really cheap as well.

I tried the Mac Mini approach but got frustrated with the aspect not being correct something to do with the Mini's graphics.

I use the same software. Works a treat.
