My son's ipod touch has been working fine but when he now tries to browse the internet he gets the message "Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet". The ipod touch can see the wireless network and we have laptops and Squeezebox that work fine with the router. Any ideas why the ipod should suddenly stop accessing the internet?

Three things to try:

1) You've probably already tried this, but if not... reboot the Touch: fully power it down by holding the button on top until you get the cue to swipe to power down. Then turn back on, waiting for the Apple symbol to appear on screen before you get your normal display.

2) Check that the Touch is mated to your wi-fi network (Settings/Wi-fi) - not someone elses! It will show on display that it's sensing wi-fi, but not logon.

3) Turn wi-fi on and off, re-checking that all details are correct for your network.

Apologies if these are all obvious things you've already attempted!
