iPod Touch 4th generation docking issues

Hello

Having read the great review of the new iPOD Touch in What HiFi magazine I was just about to buy one when I noticed a review saying a small plastic flap in the iPOD connector prevented it docking with a Bose station. I then read a raft of reviews on this problem. Can any one help? Is this a real problem and if so is there a workaround? Thanks

Just got the 4th gen Touch last week and I've had no issues with it docking. Walked around Currys/PC World and tried it in a few of their 'live' docks and it worked with most ( a few weren't switched on or set to receive Ipod).

Good idea, or go to one of the big electrical stores who will let you plug and play their own Ipod with their own docks.
