IPOD headphones

My Ipod's headphones seem to have lost all their bass response, any ideas why? I'm going to buy replacements but i'd like to avoid having them go the same way. It gets carried around all over the place, and played at a sensible volume.

And get a pair of Ultimate Ears, think the model is v5i, were about £120.00 got mine off of Amazon for £50.00

Usefully they have a mic and on off switching and track pause etc

Take a while to run in, but they are top rate

i would be looking a sony mrd ed 21lp a steal a 17 quid much better than the apple one

Sennheiser CX 300 II - I use them on the move with my Classic or at the gym with a shuffle. 3 steps up from apple's.

I also have B&W P5, which are wonderful, but in terms of VFM, the Senns are the best.
