Insurance replacement

Hi there,

I am just after some advice really. In my current setup my front speakers are a pair of Mission M74i being powered by the Yamaha amp DSP-AX750se. The M74s have recently being damaged by water after I had a leak in the roof after all the rain recently.

I have just heard from my insurance company today and they are offering me a pair of Monitor Audio BR5 as a replacement.

What do people think, are they any good?

Well, they obviously read WHFSV 🙂

Sounds like a reasonable bet, unless you're on new for old and still have the receipt for the 74is, when you might be able to push them a bit. But given that M74is are about £200-220 if you can find them, it seems pretty fair to me.
