Infinity Reference 50 vs B&W 685

Need help. I have an Infinity Reference 50 which I bought in year 93. I love the sound it produces. However I havent used them in donkeys year and all the drivers are damaged. I have managed to find replacement drivers for them. But the cost of replacing them are as close to buying a new pair of speakers. I have audition the B&W 685 speakers. So its either I get the Infinity fixed or purchase brand new B&Ws. Was wondering if anyone here still has or had the Inifinity Reference 50 and could give shed some light for me.

Which sound did you prefer? Go with that one, but you might want to listen to some more speakers before making a decision.
