Improve my tv sound for £600

Hi All,

I'm looking for recommendations on what to buy to improve my tv/ movie/ gaming sound. I've been looking at soundbars but have read that a speaker and amp setup might be a better option. What do people recommend at this price range?

Thanks,

Adam

A few choices here you could get a Yamaha YSP2500 Soundbar for around £500 this includes a Subwoofer. Another alternative is buy a Atmos amp for around £300 & get some speakers to match for a similar price, i would advise have a look at Richer Sounds for open box stuff (NOT REFURBISHED) as you can quite often get some good deals on amps & speakers.

Regards..

Thanks for the advice I'll look into those options.

You won't need an Atmos capable amp if you're only planning to have 3 speakers.

Look at an amp like Pioneer VSX330 available for £199, and speakers like Q acoustics 2000i series or Wharfedale Diamond. Definitely get a subwoofer.
