That's quite ****. Or I always have to use my TV with the HDMI out of the Apple Tv, or I have to buy a HDMI>Optical/SPDIF dac or I fall back to Apple TV 3.

I agree, that's crap. Not that I was planning to upgrade from my ATV3. There's always the airport express.

Thanks for the tip of the airport expres, ID, but become a bit expensive... Another 100 euro's.

I think I go for the converter, something like you mentioned or with an coaxial out. I have to check what's left on the back of my amp.
