as i cannot decide what to do, i thought that (once again) i would ask for opinions, so here goes....if you were in the position of being able to buy a pioneer bdp 70a bluray player, would you buy one? Or, would you wait for a couple of months to see what is coming out to try and "knock it off its perch?"

It's definitely the best Blu-ray player currently out there, so if you want the best right now, I'd buy it. But it is expensive, so don't be surprised if in 12 months you can buy the same performance for less.

I'm waiting for a while. I have a PS3 but want a standalone player. Looking to get one towards the end of the year, maybe when Profile 2 is released.
