We've had a few run-ins with Auracast before, but now more than ever I'm starting to feel like it could be a serious step forward in audio sharing tech.

I feel the same excitement, but very little information.

For me the big use case is TV in a common living space: the kids can all watch the Masked Singer while I can work a bit. I will not change my TV any time soon, but suppose there will be transmitters, like the Tv HearMore or the Earis Max, but they do not come from established brands and are quiet expensive.

Good to see it on JBL speakers, but little information their too. The use case definitely is linking various speakers, but can I also include my MTW4 in the chain? Could a JBL extreme than work as a transmitter where I input my TV sound through a jack and have it Auracasted to my MTW4?

All this just to suggest that there might be some interesting testing to be done by a trusted brand as WhatHIFI to guide us in this brave new aural world. 🙂

Hi. If you could refrain from posting unsolicited links, it'd be appreciated. We get a lot of spam, and I'm not clicking on things to see whether they are legitimate. Welcome, BTW!
