I was wondering if there is anything on the market that someone can recommend that i can plug in to my receiver to send an HDMI signal wirelessly to my soon to be ceiling mounted projector without me having to channel out my wall and ceiling?

Pref one that isn't going to cost £800!

Getting a mains cable to it isn't that difficult just the HDMI cable!

You will need a time machine first as it hasn't been fully developed yet AFAIK. It was announced at the Vegas show a couple of years back but nothing since. Gefen are also developing HDMI over coax to overcome the problems with HDMI over long lengths.

Streaming video wirelessly is still hit-and-miss, you're always better off with a wired solution, so I'm afraid you're stuck with either HDMI or perhaps a cat5/6 balun system. See hdcable.co.uk etc. for examples.
