Class G... boring geek-on-a-budget stuff.

What I plan to do when I get rich (anytime now) is to get one of these Lumenaus Solar Power Systems as a solar power supply, and one of these Pure Class A Boulder Amps, and run 11.1 channel theater room with these Vivid Audio G1 Giya's.

I reckon a 96kWh off-grid system will do the job for 11.1 channel Class A. *scratch_one-s_head*

I was considering wind turbines and generators, but those are noisy. The sun is as quiet as it gets. Might possibly need to move to Australia, otherwise on cloudy days in Europe the voltage rails may sag.

That's the plan. Anyways. Carry on.

No need to move to Australia Vlad you could move to Norway, run the system off hydroelectric and to utilise heat given off you could open a sauna next door to recoup some of your money.

How about buying few villages in mainland China and making every household run stationary bikes 24/7 to produce electricity for my listening room sans batteries (you never know when I may get in the mood to play music). They have to be perfectly synchronized for turning speed so I don't have to use voltage regulators in the signal path. In every village center there will be 100 ft towers with air horns to alert peddlers to stop immediatly when I push "Stand-by" on the remote. I don't want any relays in the signal path as well. Let's keep it clean, fully discrete and analogue.

I'd love one, but my Evolution 5350 is so damn good what would I really gain from changing? That's the sensible side of me speaking.

.... the 50A / 50D combination does look nice though, drawing me ever towards it
